Saturday Morning

I set my alarm for 7:30 am to have time for coffee, breakfast and a shower.  Darn thing did not go off so it was 8:15 am when I rose… eeek.  Jumped in the shower, tried to make myself look presentable and went down to the event room.

We were all given lanyards with nametags so if we didn’t know who someone was before, we now all have tags (kind of like kindergarten… lol).  Snagged an awesome t-shirt with the WarriorEvent 2011 logo and was given a mysterious thumb drive from James Jones with software that I can’t wait to check out.  Says “The Net Results” and we were given no clues as to what’s on it.

Went to grab a coffee to sit down and wouldn’t you know – the pots were empty.  Had to have caffeine so off to the restaurant I went.  Met Holly Cotter and a lovely girl named Maria (Mario Brown’s girlfriend) and Holly invited me along to breakfast.  A few others joined us while we were eating so the networking began early – and it’s awesome!

Now I’m in the event room listening to our first presenter, Bryan Zimmerman, who is talking about goal setting and planning – very important stuff if you wish to build a real business and be successful.    He had a very nice slideshow to go with it and of course, it was great stuff.

Next up is Mario Brown talking about offline marketing strategies… since offline really isn’t my area, I’m going to go snag more coffee and see who I can chat up and get to know…

More to come…
