Between work and my general health issues, I don’t have nearly the time I’d like to work on building up my business but I’m still trudging along, bit by bit. Currently, I am working on gaining more skill with Photoshop. I work mainly with GIMP for my graphic designs but PS is the industry standard and can do so much more so I am playing around with it every chance I get. While this doesn’t directly earn money at the moment, I feel like it’s a time investment into my future business.
The other thing I’m working on right now is a ‘Trash to Treasure’ case study. I enjoy something called junk journaling as a hobby and one of the arms of my new business will be designs and items that cater to that market. To that end, I recently bought a box of really old and rough books (mostly 1890-1921). Deb kinda laughed at me so I thought it would be cool to show her what I could do with that little $8.44 purchase. As I go, I’m documenting it all so I can share the results.
That’s it for now!
